Working with copics and some peachy keen stamps

Ok so sorry that this is not the best picture but I thought that I would share anyhow.I have been taking online copic classes and thought that I would share some of what I am working on. This isn't perfect by any means but much better than the very first time that I used them. I am working on mastering skin tones right now, then I can move on to other things. This set of peachy keen stamps is perfect to work with. This stamp is from the November stamp kit of the month which just happens to be one of my favorites.

Hope that you all enjoy this short post and I will have more in a couple of days and of course I will continue to share my journey with copics. Have a great week everyone and thanks for stopping by!

Graphic 45 calendar finished!

Good Morning crafty friends! Today there are lots of photos as you see. Yesterday I finished my Graphic 45 calendar. I completed this calendar using Place in Time collection. As I told you in my first post I only had one paper stack so I had to make some adjustments when I was making this. I ended up not really following the tutorial and just made it my own. The layouts on all the pages are all the same because I really liked the bottom part of the page to be blank. This way if the person that I will be giving this to wants to write down a quick note or something they can. The pages for the day and date part of the calendar is by Canvas Corp. To bind my calendar I used my cinch machine for the first time. I have to say that I absolutely love it and it seems so much easier to use than the bind it all. Or at least it does to me.

Well I am off to get these children of mine to school and get some stuff done. It is going to be a busy day! Hope everyone has a wonderful Thursday and get to do something crafty!

KBD Snow Fun Polar Bear Paper Piecing

Hello everyone, Happy Hump Day! I wanted to take a minute this morning and show you this adorable paper piecing set that I put together yesterday. This set is by KaDoodle Bug Designs and is called Snow Fun Polar Bears. For the mouths on these cute little bears I used my Peachy Keen stamps. I am planning to use this on layout eventually. I thought this would be perfect for all of those photos that I have of the kids playing in the snow. Today I will be hopefully finishing the calendar that I have been working on, so I will get photos of that to share with all of you as well. Then I plan on making another mini album. So lots going on and I will have more for you later in the week. Hope that you all have a wonderful day!

Graphic 45 Calendar Cover

Ok so I have been following tutorials from graphic 45 to make this calendar using their new collect A Place in Time. I love the paper in this collection! This is the cover of what will be my calendar. I am not doing my calendar exactly as they are in the tutorial mostly because I have realized that I do not have enough of the stacks to do so. I would need more than on 12x12 paper stack in order to do it just like they have so I am just doing this my way. I have to say though that I really  like how it is turning out and I am having a lot of fun with it! Here is a link to the tutorial for anyone who would like to follow along with it. http://g45papers.typepad.com/graphic45/2012/11/place-in-time-calendar-tutorial-series-calendar-cover-.html#entries . This is a 12x12 calendar that I am making. Everything you need to make this cover is from the Place in Time collection.

Hope that you enjoy this post and I look forward to seeing how many people follow along with this tutorial even if you do as me and make it your own. Please comment with a link to your project if you choose to do this, I would love to see your work too!

Rudy's Christmas Card Set

I put together the KaDoodle Bug Designs Rudy's Christmas set a week or so ago and just never did anything with it. It has been sitting on my desk since I completed the set and I decided today that I really needed to do something with them. So I decided to make a set of cards. They are the perfect size for a standard A2 card. I just trimmed a piece of pattern cardstock at 4 x 5 1/4 to use as my background. The pattern cardstock is  by DCWV from The Traditional Holiday stack. I love this stack and happened to pick it up at Michael's a couple of weeks ago while it was on sale. Hope that you all enjoy this set of cards! I have a layout that I will post later in the week and can't wait to share it with you all!

I'll eat to that! Thanksgiving card

Hi everyone! Tonight I have cute simple Thanksgiving card that I want to share with you. I made this for the challenge that is going on over at KaDoodle Bug Designs right now. The challenge is anything goes Thanksgiving. You can make anything you wish with Thanksgiving as the theme and of course you must use a KBD file. I used the gobbles n wobbles file to create my card. The sentiment is from Peachy keen stamps as part of a stamp of the month kit. This is a standard A2 size card. Hope that you all enjoyed this simple project! I will be back with more later this week!

Thankful For You Layout

Hi everyone! I wanted to take some time really quick to share with you this adorable layout that I just finished. This is a 12x12 layout. I used my Peachy Keen October stamp of the month kit to create this. The background cardstock is by DCWV but I can not remember what stack. I have had this for quite some time and just hadn't found the perfect thing to use it for until now. I just love how these stamps went together with this cardstock! I used the svg file that comes with the monthly kit to cut everything out, so this was a super fast layout to make. Hope that you enjoy this project and I will be back with more this week!

CD Case Mini Album Using Peachy Keen November Stamp Of the Month Kit

Hi everyone! Well we are just about a week from Thanksgiving and things around my house have been super busy! I got my Peachy Keen stamp of the month kit recently and couldn't wait to use these gorgeous stamps. So I made another mini album. This time my mini album was made using an empty cd case. All the pattern cardstock is by Sassafras Life is Beautiful collection.

I found my directions to do this album onine here http://www.making-mini-scrapbooks.com/cdcaseminialbum.html The instructions are super simple making this album a lot of fun. I did do a couple of things differently, for instance I covered the hinges front and back. To decorate the album I used Peachy Keen Stamp kit of the month for November.

Hope you all enjoy this mini album and are having a wonderful weekend!

The paper is gorgeous and they have embossed stickers and plain cardstock that goes with the pattern paper as well. I have included lots of photos for you to see all the details on this project. The accordian album is 4x6 and is really simple and fast to make. First Christmas card of the year!

Ok so it has been a while since I posted. Things have been so busy around our house with school, football and girl scouts that I just haven't had time to write up a post. This is the first Christmas card that I have made this year and I think it turned out really cute! This card is a 5x7. I made this adorable little gingerbread girl using the Sweet Sugar babies KaDoodle bug cut file. I embossed the white with a cuttlebug folder that I just got. The folder comes in the Celebrate Christmas set. The pattern paper that I used is by K&co. Hope you enjoy this card and are all having a wonderful week!
